Oops! ... What kind of squirrel is this? ... Oops!
Okay, you're right ... this is not a squirrel!! This is "Valentine" who lives with "Mr. Ritchie" and his wife, Bonnie. Valentine is a Vietnamese Potbellied Pig who was born December 27, 1990. She was a Valentine gift from Mr. Ritchie to his wife, instead of roses. Valentine stands 23" tall at the shoulders and weighs 118 pounds. (Pictured above is Valentine starring in her own film ... "Piggy Fashion Show".)
Valentine is spoiled rotten and has the run of the house any time she wants. She also frustrates the wild squirrels who live in her back yard. After the squirrels bury their pecans, Valentine sneaks around behind them and, with her incredible sense of smell, finds all the pecans they bury and eats them. The squirrels just sit up in the trees and "fuss, fuss, fuss" at Valentine as she goes about her food hunt.
