Hi everyone!
YES! We are still alive! I know a lot of your have been writing to see if we were OK, or if they had been taken off of the mailing list, but the truth is, things have been SO CRAZY we can't believe that the whole Summer has come and gone!
It's September, and autumn is just around the corner! So, let's begin with what has been and what is happening!!
Boy, have we got BIG NEWS for you!!
Back in June, we had been talking with Miss Norma, who lives a way up in the Northwest!
Miss Norma and her husband make quilts for needy folks in their area! How Cool!
Being so far north, I'll bet those quilts will come in handy for many folks!
Miss Norma said that since November, she and her husband have made and sent out 42 quilts!
According to Daddy Giant's Grandmama, it takes A LOT of work just to make ONE quilt!

We are still saving up our money so that we can prayerfully and hopefully self-publish our very first book, "In the Beginning…"!
Miss Linda (our webmaster) says that we can hopefully offer the book in our website, "Chatter Valley", or on some online bookstores!
Good idea, huh?!
Miss Jamie, our illustrator (the person that draws and paints the pictures for our book), is doing something new and SO COOL in her website about us here in Chatter Valley!!
Miss Jamie let us have a little peek of the pictures and we will let you know the moment all of it is ready!!

Prayers
& Answered Prayers
WOW! We have gotten in SO many prayer requests!
Please prayerfully read each and every one, because these folks, young and old, REALLY need our prayers!
September 11th is here upon us already. It doesn't seem like a year has already gone by that the terrorist attacked our country.
For the rest of this month, let's make a special effort to remember to keep those folks that have lost loved ones in the
attacks in our prayers, and also for the folks that lost loved ones that we proudly call, OUR soldiers.
Please continue to pray for our brave men and women of our military who keep watch around the world and along the borders of our country!
We ALL need to pray for our service men and women, because they are all sons and daughters of someone!
ANSWERED PRAYERS UPDATE!
Remember Brandon that was having the eye surgery? His aunt, Miss Kathy, wrote us that Brandon's eye surgery went very well, and that they will NOT have to remove Brandon's eye!
THANK YOU, JESUS! Miss Kathy also said that Brandon is back at work and may be able to drive soon!
All of us here in Chatter Valley thank Jesus AND each and every one of our Prayer Warriors that
were in on this one!
Please pray for the family of a dear friend of Daddy Giant's that went to be with our Lord last Wednesday.
His name was Mr. Glen, and was in on almost every Junior Church along with Daddy Giant.
Mr. Glen leaves behind his wife and four children. Please pray that the Lord will put a nice warm blanket of His presence and love around the family during this time of great loss.
We all know that Mr. Glen is walking and talking with Jesus now, but not seeing his smile, hearing his voice, and rolling our eyes at his goofy sense of humor (which it seemed a lot like Daddy Giant's) will make things very empty for a long time to come.
Please pray for Mr. Scott. Mr. Scott is about the BEST car mechanic in the whole wide world, and keeps all of Daddy Giant's vehicle going!
But, Mr. Scott has been going through some very tough times over the last FOUR years.
Mr. Scott has 'reactive arthritis' and from what we understand, this illness makes just standing up hurt so much, and being a mechanic, Mr. Scott has GOT to move around a lot to do his work.
Mr. Scott has been from one doctor to the other trying to get help, but nothing has been found to help him so far.
So let's all pray together that the Master Physician, our Lord Jesus, would touch Mr. Scott, heal him and make him well!
We thank you SO much!
ANSWERED PRAYERS, ANSWERED PRAYERS! Our very, very special friend, Miss Wendy (the lady that plays the keyboard at Daddy Giant's church and has been confined to a wheelchair) was at church this past Sunday!
Yea! And guess what? The Lord has blessed her with the coolest handicapped van that you have ever seen!
It lowers itself to the ground so that Miss Wendy can ride her wheelchair up in it easily, and Miss Wendy can start the van from inside her house!
Is that too cool or what? The only thing is, that means that Miss Wendy is behind the wheel and back on the road again!
LOOK OUT EVERYBODY!
Please join us in prayer for the sister of one of Daddy Giant's friends at work.
Miss Fran will be going through a knee replacement operation, so let's pray that the Lord will bless Miss Fran and the operation, so that Miss Fran can get back on her feet in a hurry!
Please join us in prayer with Alena and Lauren that the Lord will heal their dad, Mr. Jeff!
Please join us in prayer for our special pal, Mr. Randy, and that the Lord will strengthen him and keep him pushing forward for Jesus.
We know that Jesus is the Master Physician, 'cause He made the blind to see, the lame to walk, and He raised the dead!
Jesus is SO AWESOME, and NOTHING is greater than HE is! We know that with our heartfelt prayers, Jesus will help ALL of these people!
I always write all of these precious people's names down so I won't forget anyone!

AGAIN, PLEASE join us in prayer for some prayer requests that have been sent to us lately.
It seems that so many marriages are breaking up these days, and the saddest part is that sometimes children are caught in the middle, and YOU may know some of these people yourself!
Satan is to blame, because he just wants to destroy everything and everyone!
But, prayer chases Satan off! Daddy Giant remembers what someone said long ago, 'The family that prays together stays together!' Amen, to that!!
Also, please join us in prayer for others who have written us about their kids that don't know Jesus or that are drifting away from the Lord.
The kids are not being nice to their parents, running away from home, and getting into all kinds of trouble.
Please join us in prayer that these kids will not fall into Satan's many traps and that they will come back to the safety of our loving Saviour, Jesus Christ!
Please don't forget about the sick folks that you may know, and also the people that can't get out of their homes like we can, too!
A smiling face and a prayer goes a LONG, LONG way for these people! It REALLY does!!
PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO PLEASE PRAY for a little 5 year boy named, John ("CJ"), who is missing from his home in Brooklyn, NY, AND a little 5 year old girl named, Kelsey, who is missing from her home in Southern Minnesota, AND a 9 year old girl named, Penny, who is missing from her home in Longs, South Carolina.
I know we have said it before OVER AND OVER, BUT listen very carefully, kids!
PLEASE DO NOT talk to or go anywhere with strangers! If need be, SCREAM, KICK, BITE, BLOW A WHISTLE, or whatever it takes, then RUN AWAY and call your parents or a police officer!
There
have been so many others that asked for prayer in the “Private
Prayer Request” and the Lord has been so wonderful and loving to those
people, and prayers have been answered! HONEST,
if you have a prayer need, go to the “Chatter
Valley Prayer Line” and put your prayer request in there and we will
pray for you and your needs, because the Chatter Valley Prayer Warriors are the
BEST! YEA!

Toon Travels
GUESS WHAT?!
GUESS WHAT?! During the Summer, we went on a trip through the Southeast United States!
We went from Florida, through Alabama, up to Tennessee, over to North Carolina, down to South Carolina, and then finally through Georgia!
But you know what was so cool? Daddy Giant had one of those magnetic sign things made up with my face and our website address on it, and
put it on the back of our van.

If you look real close, you can almost see what Daddy Giant looks like in the reflection of the van. Can you see him?
Daddy Giant says that it's not a very good reflection of him as the curve of the van door just MAKES him look fat(ter).
We just laughed a lot a said, "Yeah, RIGHT!"
As we drove from state to state, I sat up on the dashboard of the car and waved at everyone that rode past us and stared.
We made many new friends along the way, and have had a lot of new visitors to our website!
You know, maybe you can help me with something that Daddy Giant said about our trip.
Daddy Giant said that Mama Giant drove during the whole trip, and that the only thing he did was just hold on to the steering wheel.
Can anyone help me with this? Since every time Daddy Giant tells someone this, Mama Giant chases Daddy Giant around trying to 'frog' him on the arm!
