Hi everyone!
Autumn is here upon us and winter will soon be around the corner. We have SO many things to talk about, so let's get right down to it!

Boy, have we got BIG NEWS for you!! Daddy Giant and I have been on three bridge inspection jobs in three different states since the last time we talked! We have been to Nevada, Connecticut, and Oregon! All within three WEEKS! Boy, Daddy Giant sure is tired! Guess What?! Mama Giant's daddy, Mr. John, and Daddy Giant were talking about our very first book, "In The Beginning…" a couple of weeks ago. Mr. John said for Daddy Giant to start looking for someone that will print our book, because Mr. John wants to help get it printed! Is that great news or what?! Looks like our book will be coming out much sooner than we expected! Boy, we are SO excited about this! Miss Jamie, our illustrator (the person that draws and paints the pictures for our book), is probably going to faint with this news since the whole world will get to see what great work she does!!

Hey, don't forget to visit the website that Miss Norma and her husband make all of those great quilts for! In case you have forgotten, the website is: ProjectLinus.org ! (just leave off the ! ) I think Daddy Giant is going to see if Miss Norma will make a squirrel quilt for us to all snuggle up in come winter!

Baby Squirrel News

Miss Linda, up on Chatter Ridge, has got 19 baby squirrels! Some are now beginning to move into bigger cages to learn how to crack nuts and stuff on their own. Once these little ones can eat on their own, it will be time for them to pick the tree that they will live in. You know the ol' Chatter Valley saying, "Can't leave 'til you can crack and eat one of these!" (Pecans, of course)

We are still getting calls about baby squirrels falling out of their nest around this time, so don't forget, if you or someone that you know finds a baby squirrel, please go to the "HELP! I Found A Baby Squirrel" section in the Chatter Valley website and then call a veterinarian or a squirrel rehabber (specialist).

Prayers & Answered Prayers

WOW! We have gotten in SO many prayer requests! Please prayerfully read each and every one, because these folks, young and old, REALLY need our prayers!

Please continue to pray for our brave men and women of our military who keep watch around the world and along the borders of our country! We ALL need to pray for our service men and women, because they are all sons and daughters of someone!

ANSWERED PRAYERS UPDATE! 
Please continue in prayer for Mr. Scott. Like we said last month, Mr. Scott is about the BEST car mechanic in the whole wide world, and keeps all of Daddy Giant's vehicles going! Mr. Scott has 'reactive arthritis' and from what we understand, this illness makes just standing up hurt so much, and being a mechanic, Mr. Scott has GOT to move around a lot to do his work. Mr. Scott started working out with weights, and according to his wife, Miss Mary, Mr. Scott seems to be feeling better! Thank you, Jesus, for blessing and continuing to bless Mr. Scott!

Please continue with us in prayer with Alena and Lauren that the Lord will heal their dad, Mr. Jeff! Mr. Jeff went up to Ohio for some special tests with some very special doctors. Will you please join us in prayer that the Lord will bless those doctors so they can find how to help Mr. Jeff?

Please join us in prayer for our special pal, Mr. Randy, and that the Lord will strengthen him, keep him pushing forward for Jesus, and to do His will as the Lord directs Mr. Randy's future.

We know that Jesus is the Master Physician, 'cause He made the blind to see, the lame to walk, and He raised the dead! Jesus is SO AWESOME, and NOTHING is greater than HE is! We know that with our heartfelt prayers, Jesus will help ALL of these people! I always write all of these precious people's names down so I won't forget anyone! Will you do the same?

I know we have said this so many times, but PLEASE join us in prayer for some prayer requests that have been sent to us. It seems that so many marriages are breaking up these days, and the saddest part is that sometimes children are caught in the middle, and YOU may know some of these people yourself! Satan is to blame, because he just wants to destroy everything and everyone! But, prayer chases Satan off! Daddy Giant remembers what someone said long ago, 'The family that prays together stays together!' Amen, to that!!

Also, please join us in prayer for others who have written us about their kids that don't know Jesus or that are drifting away from the Lord. The kids are not being nice to their parents, running away from home, and getting into all kinds of trouble. Please join us in prayer that these kids will not fall into Satan's many traps and that they will come back to the safety of our loving Saviour, Jesus Christ! 

Please don't forget about the sick folks that you may know, and also the people that can't get out of their homes like we can, too! A smiling face and a prayer goes a LONG, LONG way for these people! It REALLY does!!

PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO PLEASE PRAY for a little 5 year boy named, John ("CJ"), who is missing from his home in Brooklyn, NY, AND a little 5 year old girl named, Kelsey, who is missing from her home in Southern Minnesota, AND a 9 year old girl named, Penny, who is missing from her home in Longs, South Carolina. I know we have said it before OVER AND OVER, BUT listen very carefully, kids! PLEASE DO NOT talk to or go anywhere with strangers! If need be, SCREAM, KICK, BITE, BLOW A WHISTLE, or whatever it takes, then RUN AWAY and call your parents or a police officer!

There have been so many others that asked for prayer in the “Private Prayer Request” and the Lord has been so wonderful and loving to those people, and prayers have been answered!  HONEST, if you have a prayer need, go to the “Chatter Valley Prayer Line” and put your prayer request in there and we will pray for you and your needs, because the Chatter Valley Prayer Warriors are the BEST!  YEA!

Salvation Update

We have had a great September and so far October! We are proud to announce that there are NOW four (4) new additions to the Family of Jesus! These two guys and two girls made their decision to follow Jesus and got SAVED!! Their names are now written down in the Lamb's Book of Life and they are Samantha, Dexter and Drema (Sept. 29th), and Kyle (Oct. 20th).

All of us here in Chatter Valley are so VERY PROUD and so HAPPY that they have made their decision to follow Jesus! Praise the Lord for His marvelous love!

Toon Travels

GUESS WHAT?! GUESS WHAT?! During September, Daddy Giant and I went up to Connecticut because Daddy Giant needed to do an underwater inspection on a bridge in Middletown. This railroad bridge is over the Connecticut River and was built in 1889, and boy is it BIG!

"Here I am with the helmet that Daddy Giant uses to go into the water with and inspect the bridges. That helmet weighs about 27 pounds! (OOF!) Since I weigh about 8 ounces, how many of me will it take to weigh as much as his helmet?"

"That big roll that I am sitting on is what they call an umbilical (say it like, um-bill-i-cle). All of those hoses and stuff give Daddy Giant air to breathe, shows the guys on the surface how deep Daddy Giant is, has a safety line in it, and a line so that Daddy Giant and the guys on the surface can talk back and forth. Watching all of this underwater inspection stuff going on is way past too cool. I asked Daddy Giant if he gets scared every now and then doing this kind of work, and he said sometimes things get a 'little exciting'. I'll take that as a YES! Daddy Giant DID tell me that each time before he goes into the water, he ALWAYS says "a special Diver's prayer" for him and the crew. Daddy Giant said that this prayer is for ME too, now that I am a member of his crew! Toon, Spiritual Squirrel and Diver Squirrel!! (ha!)"
